Amazon Promise’s mission is to alleviate suffering and save lives in Peru’s Upper Amazon by delivering essential medical and dental care, health education, and follow-up to remote river communities. They do this sustainably by partnering with local clinicians and traditional practitioners, focusing on women’s and family health from their base in Iquitos into surrounding villages.
